Established in January 2013, the key aim of this voluntary group is to improve the appearance of the town and surrounding areas.

We are a small group always on the lookout for more volunteers. It may be that it is a way to develop stronger links with your own group such as the Allotment Society, or perhaps you just enjoy gardening but no longer have one of your own. Whatever your motivation you would be very welcome.

We do not ask for a regular commitment, nor do we need you to be available every week (of course if you were we’d love it!). Thirty minutes here, or thirty minutes there would be fab. We have regular working groups that you can join or if you prefer you can work on your own at a time to suit. As well as physical gardening work we welcome anyone with gardening knowledge to help us plan and problem solve.
